Evaluating the suitability of a hypnotist can be a tricky thing!  What are some of the important things to clarify before you hire a hypnotist?

From websites to video clips, to testimonials, there are ways to find out how the hypnotist has performed at previous shows.

One is to make sure the Hypnotist has a proven track record dont be afraid to ask for  references. Make sure the Hypnotist is a member of a professional organisation always make sure they have Public Liability Insurance. At this moment in time there are only around 8 Hypnotists in the UK with full liability insurance. 

Another important thing to clarify before you hire the hypnotist is the type of material he will be using. In many cases, stage hypnotists will perform adult-oriented, suggestive acts if you do not specifically tell them otherwise. 

Experience

Does your chosen hypnotist have good experience? Ask how long they've been performing - look at testimonials for a good gauge of how well they perform.

Reliabilty

If, for whatever reason, the hypnotist falls ill or is otherwise unable to perform, do they have a back up plan? F.E.S.H. members have access to a network of trained, professional fellow hypnotists who can fill the slot.

Does this hypnotists show suit your circumstances?

Hypnotists vary widely in tastes, from family orientated shows to adult themed showsd that are more suited to venues such as stag dos and hen parties. Look closely at their website, video clips and ask previous clients.
